Sample quality that significantly exceeds production quality. It is common for a supplier to hand-select samples for evaluation. The test is whether they can produce the same quality at scale. How many samples should I test before approving a supplier?

For a new metal seal supplier, test at least 50 units drawn from different positions within a production batch.
